 I've always been the person my friends and family call when they don't know what to get someone. The one who thinks about who that person really is — what they love, what their life looks like right now, what would make them feel truly seen — and then goes and finds it. So I made it official. 

THE MGW STORY

MGW stands for Moms Gone Wild — and before you picture anything other than what it actually is, let me explain.

It's a name born from a group of extraordinary women. Most are moms. Some are aunts, caregivers, teachers, nurses, doctors, and business leaders. All of them show up fully — for their families, their careers, their communities, and each other.

For years, this crew found ways to get away together. Ski trips. European adventures. Islands. Girls trips that on the surface looked like fun — and were — but were really about something deeper. About being truly known. About laughing until it hurts with people who have watched you build your life and loved you through every chapter of it.

That's where MGW was born. Not in a boardroom. Around a dinner table somewhere between a mountain and an ocean, with women who know that the best things in life aren't things at all — they're moments, memories, and the people you share them with.

AND THEN THERE WAS A TRADITION.

When my daughter graduated college and moved away to start her career, I wanted to keep her connected to her best friend who'd done the same — different state, different city, same chapter of life.

So I made them matching 24 Days of Christmas advent calendars. Same gifts. Open together over FaceTime on the same day. Little splurges they'd never buy themselves — things that felt like a hug from home.

They called it the Adulting Sucks Calendar. The name stuck.

Four years later it's still going — and it inspired everything you see here. Because that's what MGW Gifts is at its core: the belief that the right gift, given with intention, makes people feel deeply seen and deeply loved.
